Skin Cleansing

Welcome to my inaugural blog post, my name is Joy. I will be sharing tips and insights into one of my greatest passions " Skin Care"!

Now skin care is akin to fitness. A ripped body is not achieved in a day but it is attained by incorporating a consistent fitness regimen and balanced diet. Skin care had to be constant and takes into account other factors such as diet, physical fitness and emotional well being.

Cleansing

Facial Cleansing

An effective skin care regimen commences with cleansing. This ensures that all dirt, grime as well as any traces of makeup are eliminated. Utilize a cleanser that is suitable for your skin type i.e. either oily, dry, normal or sensitive skin.  Should your skin feel taut or tight after cleansing, it may be that the cleanser is not suitable for your skin type. Cleansers can come in the form of a gel, cream , oil, lotion or cleansing milk .

Use lukewarm water and a small amount of cleanser to cleanse your face. Gently wash your face, do not tug and pull at your skin like you would an article of clothing. A face brush or wash cloth can be used to ensure you get the dirt off. Repeat the whole procedure once more to ensure that the skin is well cleansed. Rinse and gently pat your skin dry.Cleanse your skin twice daily and you will be amazed at how proper cleansing can transform your skin.
